Xjet commissioned GB Visuals Ltd to spray and decal their fleet of vehicles. Including tugs, stairwells, and toilet disposable vehicles.

Firstly we carried out a survey and to establish the condition of the assets and take measurements for decal and calculate cellulose paint requirements.

We spent 2 weeks on the project undercoating each asset and then applying top coat in the cooperate blue of Xjet.

Each vehicle was masked, protecting electric and mechanical parts as well as existing chrome finishes. Any rust areas were rubbed down and treated. This took 2 men, approximately a day on each of the large stairwells. Smaller units a shorter period. We were able to complete this preparation undercover of the Diamond Hanger facility.

Following strict health and safety and Stansted Airport rules and regulations the assets were then taken airside and necessary sheeting fixed on the tarmac to protect any overspray.

Several prime and top coats were applied to reach the final result.

Once dry, we left overnight undercover. White cut vinyl produced at our work shop in Basildon was then applied to each asset. The Xjet Logo was now clearly visible airside and identified with serial numbers on each making it easy for airport security to identify.

“Gary has done a large amount for work for us At XJet London: ranging from window graphics to complete resprays and wrapping of our fleet of vehicles. Gary has always been very professional and very easy to deal with and no job is too small or too big. GB Visuals is highly recommended by us.”
