GB Visual offer light boxes and lightbox graphics /duratrans/Backlits. We offer several options to customize backlit graphics and duratrans. All our duratrans are produced using state-of-the-art digital process to ensure customer satisfaction every time. We custom print these backlit posters with your own graphics and images!
Design a poster for your light box display and we’ll print it for you. When designing your artwork, please remember that many of our light boxes cover a portion of the print at the edges. Keep this in mind as it may cover a portion of your poster.

The Light Box Process
- GB Visual print using vibrant HP latex inks onto the reverse of a translucent polyester film ideal for backlit light box display graphics.
- The backlit film’s ultra-white diffusing layer allows reverse print onto the matt side leaving a glossy finish.
- After printing your backlit posters and duratrans can be sealed with a gloss laminate to protect them from scratching when loading into display units.
Ideal for advertisements, retail displays, POP and event graphics, use illuminated back lit light boxes. Large format outdoor back lit poster printing is ideal for quantities of 1 – 100’s.
Lightbox Supply
GB Visual supply a range of freestanding and wall mounted lightboxes. These range 75mm depth for slim line wall mounted and 100/125mm depth for our freestand range. For further information go to our catalogue.

Custom made can be produced in a variety of shapes and sizes for specific illuminated display requirements. The majority of our standard lightboxes can be custom-built to bespoke dimensions to achieve the optimum size for the illuminated display requirements.

Vector LED Lightboxes
Lightboxes made in house from Aluminium Extrusion. Can be made to custom sizes big and small- can even be made into an arch .
Embrace + system
The Embrace+ works using the familiar ‘hop up’ frame method but with LED curtains that back light the graphics. The embrace + comes in various sizes up to 4 quads high x 4 quads wide. The frames can be clamped together in a straight line to create huge displays like the Wave and camper van or into right angles to create corner displays or U-shaped displays like the Bora Bora photo. The frames are completely toolless and super easy to assemble. All folds down into a wheeled carry bag which is included in the price! We also have the illuminated Embrace+ counter which is pictured in the Bora Bora Embrace+ image.
Illumigo
The Illumigo is the lightbox in a box. Does what it says on the tin- it’s a completely tool free easy to set up portable lightbox that packs down into its own padded carry box. Powder coated white not only for the sleek modern looking frame, but also to help the light bounce around inside the frame for maximum illumination. Available in 2m(h) x 1m(w) only.
Retail Lightbox
The Sturdy yet Sleek one. The Retail lightbox has been designed to withstand the retail environment. The big sturdy base allows for stability in high traffic areas, while the Black Powder Coated frame creates a modern looking display that will fit in to any retail environment. Available in 1882(h) x 800(w) AND 2082(h) x 1000(w)mm only.

Lightbox Case Study for Orvis Ltd
We recently produced various sizes of lightboxes for all the Orvis retail outlets throughout the UK, including London, Stockbridge, Harrogate and Bath for their upcoming Exhibitions.
The client had visited our website and liked the Vector lightbox range. GB Visual arranged to send a sample box to their London store for testing the impact and vibrancy of the images when viewed from outside. They were impressed to the extent in ordering multiples for the London store and throughout the South East of England and the West Country.
Each store had Bespoke sizes suited to their windows and floor spaces. Some were freestanding and others wall mounted varying from 450mm square to the largest 2 metres high x 4 metres wide.
GB Visuals advised on the setting up of the artwork. The London Orvis store, for example was double sided and the Bath Orvis store required single sided graphics. These were made of Fabric, but duratrans can be an option on some our Products (please ask for details).
We arranged overnight delivery in kit form for the majority of the Light Boxes, but with several GB Visuals we sent designated drivers with the light boxes already built.
For the Andover Head office (Hampshire), GB Visuals constructed crates tailor made for carrying the built frames and graphic fabrics. We also designed and built plinths wrapped in Chalky Black vinyl on plywood.
